Job Title: Data ClerkJob Description

The Data Clerk will work onsite at the client's location in Spring, TX, primarily in a large, technology-filled conferencing room alongside AI Engineers. The engineers will be testing new conferencing audio tools, and the Data Clerk will take notes, participate in discussions, and provide feedback to assist in troubleshooting the product. This role involves clerical tasks, such as scribing and copywriting, and requires active participation in meetings and virtual conference rooms. Directions will be provided for each session, and recordings will be made at the end of meetings for future AI usage. The Data Clerk will work closely with Quality Engineers to test the user experience during video conference meetings, following test scripts, and occasionally recording scripted videos for training AI models.

Responsibilities

Participate in large group listening and speaking exercises while Engineers test products.

Review and execute test scripts, noting all findings.

Collaborate with Engineers to assist in notating their test cases and provide feedback on results.

Occasionally assist in evaluating the product according to specifications.

Participate in recording scripted videos for training AI models and taking notes once completed.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of POLY/Plantronics or any conferencing systems is a huge plus (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, FaceTime, Skype).

Customer service, retail, clerical, administrative experience.

Willingness to work Tuesday-Friday for one week (all paid for 36 hours).

Work Environment

The role is located at the client's Spring, TX office. The facility includes a break room with ping-pong, billiards, video games, and a cafeteria. Breakfast and drinks are often provided, and lunch is provided daily. The schedule is flexible and part-time, making it suitable for individuals with second or third shift jobs. The position is for one week only, from Tuesday to Friday. The environment is sociable and diverse, requiring familiarity with Microsoft Office, Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, and Skype.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
