This role is responsible for the daily operations of department warehouse operations using independent judgment to manage the purchasing, receiving, packing, delivery and ordering of inventory and equipment for efficient operations.
This role ensures the timely management of these functions and services to patients, customers and employees while mensuring regulatory requirements.
The role also includes tracking and maintaining equipment and overseeing product shipping while providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

Education
Required - High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred - Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Management, or related field

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role, and keyboard use required for data entry and retrieval of information.
Strong organizational skills to manage supply orders, track inventory, and coordinate deliveries effectively.
Must always maintain a firm understanding of confidentiality, HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate information clearly and professionally with internal and external personnel.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds, across all ages, and at all levels within and outside the organization in a positive and effective manner.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a group setting.
Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within a given time period.
Job Duties
Orders supplies, including medications and equipment (if applicable), packaging materials, and all operational necessities, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
Routes and tracks deliveries to ensure timely receipt and distribution of all supplies.
Check the number of packages received against the shipping invoice and inform the leadership of any problems (missing or damaged goods, wrong items, etc.)
Pack (appropriately for the item and mode of transport chosen), weigh and label freight (destination, number of shipping units, weight and mode of transport) and assign a shipping number to each package, in accordance with the instructions of leadership.
Ensure that all items are well organized and correctly stored, well protected, fully identified and easily accessible (cleanliness, security, access, etc.).
Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions, and communication style.
Immediately escalates questions outside of scope to appropriate level of licensed team member or leader as necessary.
Operates and balances point of sale system as needed to ensure accurate payment collection.
Other related duties as required.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
