As a Security Professional - Warehouse Guard in Laurel, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Officer in the logistics and distribution location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to assist in preventing unauthorized activities. You will also engage with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position values agility, reliability, and innovation, with a focus on teamwork and integrity. While this is an unarmed post, experience with access control and badge systems is preferred, along with comfort in using computers or tablets.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Possession of a valid guard card or security license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
