NY1532076 Coffee Production Team Member needed for Utica Coffee Roasting in Utica, NY.

Pay rate is $15.50 per hour.

Job Description: Join us here at Utica Coffee and Roasting Company and be a part of packaging and distributing our product all over the world. Grinding, packing, and dating our product to meet demands in positive, growing environment. This a fast paced job, but you are part of a team trying to accomplish the same goals so communication and team work is key.

Duties: Cold Brew Production - Fulfilling cold brew needs - brewing/cleaning/testing Machine Operator - Food Service packaging machine Packing out coffee - Filling, sealing, counting, flavoring, grinding and labeling. Assemble, pack, label and stage boxes for delivery to the warehouse. Cleaning (i.e. sweeping/mopping, dusting, counters, bathroom, trash, general organization. etc) Assist in innovating our craft and products with the production team. Maintain, upkeep, and troubleshoot equipment, report issues when necessary. Have mechanical aptitude for food grade manufacturing. Always leave your station and the warehouse neat and organized: sweeping, organizing, and cleaning the floor after each production run Support your team members as needed in keeping production running smoothly Successfully completing all requirements and testing as needed to perform the job Other related duties as assigned

Skills: The ability to stand and walk (at least 8 hours per day and 5 days per week) The ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 30 pounds The ability to climb ladders, stairs, ramps and uneven floor and/or surfaces as needed The ability to have close visual acuity to perform repetitive visual checking, counting, spotting small defects, determine accuracy of numbers and package A passion for coffee You are able to speak and read English Basic math and writing skills Preferably 1+ year(s) in a fast-paced production environment

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience: Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
