Maintenance Coordinator
This position is afull time(12 months/year) position and is based at
theAdministrative Office in Ullin, Illinois. It does come with a
benefit package (including vacation, personal and sick time accrual,
holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer sponsored cafeteria
plan). This position is responsible for the direct oversight of all of
the necessary maintenance and facility improvements for the agency.
**Qualifications: At a minimum a High School Diploma or GED is required
and the applicant must be at least 18 years of age; prefer at least two
years of experience related to maintenance work.
Pay Range: \$18.46- 20.31 hourly
Job Duties:**
Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots diagnoses, inspects,
and maintains agency vehicles, buses, as well as power and lawn
equipment.
Maintains and prepares records (including invoices) related to the
service work completed on agency vehicles and equipment.
Performs lawn care and landscaping tasks at assigned sites.
Assists Maintenance Coordinator II with preventative maintenance
activities for all buildings, playgrounds, and equipment belonging
to and used by Public Health and Head Start in accordance with all
regulatory entities.
Works as a team member with other maintenance personnel in setting
goals, establishing priorities and timelines, and completing tasks
correctly and in a timely manner.
Demonstrates ability to identify potential problems concerning
safety, cleanliness, and needed repairs; informs supervisors and
makes recommendations.
Completes on-going safety inspections of sites.
Responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and equipment
between sites and moving offices; ensures proper methods in loading,
unloading, moving, and storing according to OSHA guidelines and
other regulatory agencies.
