Robert Half Finance and Accounting is working with a growing healthcare service organization based in Arlington, Texas on a search for a New Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking various accounting tasks, from preparing and analyzing accounting reports to maintaining accurate customer records.

organization as we expand operations.

Accounting Manager will oversee and supervise a team providing accounting functions for multiple healthcare centers....located in multiple states.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations:

Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closings.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for the ASCs.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Accounts Payable Management:

Oversee AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, approvals, and payments.

Monitor and manage AP aging reports and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain vendor relationships and address payment-related inquiries.

Financial Oversight:

Collaborate with executive leadership to support financial planning and decision-making.

Provide actionable insights to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to optimize team performance.

Develop and implement best practices for accounting and AP processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Healthcare experience multi-location required

5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Managerial role

Proficiency in Sage accounting software, preferred and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions

Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently

Experience in Auditing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

Expertise in performing Billing Functions

Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy

Strong knowledge of the General Ledger and financial reporting

Experience in performing Month End Close activities

Demonstrated ability in Supervisory Management, leading and motivating accounting teams.
