NIGHT STATION MECHANIC

RESUME REQUIRED

Pilgrim's wants YOU to join our Team as an a Station Mechanic.! This position starts at $26.02 /hour plus $1/hour shift differential and offers a $4/hour perfect attendance bonus that is paid out weekly..

POSITION SUMMARY: The Station Mechanic is responsible for assisting the maintenance department with plant maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with the necessary repairs of equipment, property and the building.

· Maintains accurate communication to other mechanics and departments.

· Supports the basic functions of machinery and equipment.

· Effectively uses electrical testing equipment.

· Responsible to identify opportunities for improvement and to communicate those to supervisor or lead person.

· Initiates and conducts routine preventive maintenance (PM's) on equipment by self or with minimal supervision.

· Maintain ship 6S policies and cleanliness.

Other duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

· Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplacation and percentage calculations.

· Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English

· Ability to pass a Prove It test

· Two years experience in a maintenance field is preferred

· Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

· Excellent mechanical aptitude and abilities in order to analyze, evaluate and solve mechanical problems.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Experience in the operation of maintenance power tools.

· Knowledge of electrical and mechanical procedures

· Flexibility to work weekends as needed
