Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Scheduler to join our team on a contract basis in Southborough, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating patient appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth communication between healthcare providers and patients. This position requires excellent organizational abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Schedule patient appointments efficiently while adhering to healthcare protocols.

Manage and update electronic health records using systems such as EHR, Allscripts, and Cerner Technologies.

Respond promptly to inbound calls, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.

Assist patients with billing processes and payment-related questions.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate scheduling and communication.

Maintain and utilize CRM systems to track patient interactions and appointment histories.

Provide exceptional call center customer service to support patient needs.

Handle scheduling conflicts and reschedule appointments as necessary.

Ensure compliance with medical and organizational policies in daily operations. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical scheduling or a related role.

Proficiency in EHR systems, Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and CRM tools.

Strong skills in answering inbound calls and assisting patients effectively.

Familiarity with billing functions and payment processing.

Demonstrated experience in call center customer service environments.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
