Job Title: Warehouse Driver

Job Description

In this role, you will use material handling equipment such as forklifts to unload shipments from vendors, organize them within the warehouse, and accurately pull orders for customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the orders are precise and match customer purchases.

Responsibilities

Drive a Class C vehicle for local deliveries.

Load and unload a 20-foot box truck using pallet jacks and rigging clamps.

Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Pull and palletize warehouse orders efficiently.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and orders.

Essential Skills

At least 2 years of route driving experience.

Proficiency in using forklifts and pallet jacks.

Strong English communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Customer service attitude.

No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.

Able to lift 75 lbs and maneuver 100 lbs.

Must provide a DMV report.

Work Environment

You will work in a large, open warehouse environment that houses construction supplies, similar to a Lowe's or Home Depot. The bay door remains open, so the indoor temperature closely matches the outside weather.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TIGARD, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
