Job Summary: The Warehouse Laborer is responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing incoming products and packages throughout the facility. This role includes assisting delivery drivers, accurately organizing inventory, and rotating stock to ensure product freshness. The associate collaborates with the Food and Beverage Department to fulfill requisitions and coordinates with other departments to meet operational and patron needs. Responsible for supporting the Companies mission, vision, and values by providing fun and games like no place else Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead by example. Responsible for maintaining a high degree of hospitality, as well as a positive and professional demeanor at all times. Creates high levels of morale, fosters teamwork, inspires collaboration, and provides suggestions for growth to management. Receive incoming products from vendors and deliver all incoming packages to appropriate department. Assist delivery drivers with deliveries when needed. Accurately stock products in warehouse and rotate inventories to ensure freshness. Complete requisitions as needed by the Food and Beverage Department. Coordinate with other departments to facilitate patron requests as well as departmental needs. Perform stocking of all soda/water vending machines on premise. Perform regular light warehouse maintenance to include: forklift maintenance, weekly sweeping, and removal of pallets/boxes; to ensure a secure and orderly warehouse. Proper knowledge and understanding of our beer systems, soda systems and liquor systems. Manage inventory levels appropriately and accurately; communicate back-orders and insufficient inventory levels to Commissary Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be able to pass Canterbury Park's pre-employment screening which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, drug screening, and Canterbury Park's Safe Driving Policy. Must be able to attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to operate a fork lift. Available to work varied shifts included days, nights, weekends and holidays. While performing the essential functions of this job, this position requires the ability to lift 150 pounds. Requires frequent standing, walking, pushing and pulling and bending. Requires repetitive movement. Work indoors and outdoors. Requires frequent wrist or hand use.
