What you'll do...
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Dairy Plant in Valdosta, GA. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. If you have a passion for electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and problem-solving, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do:
Design and deploy electrical solutions across diverse environments and applications
Write schematics, electrical inspection procedures, and documentation on electrician tools, safety codes, and regulations
Implement and monitor controls to ensure the quality of machine and component fabrication and design
Lead inspection activities for electrical systems, predict quality inspection trends, and recommend updates to maintain system reliability
Oversee maintenance of all electrical equipment and provide consulting on electrician services in various environments
Establish norms, standards, and guidelines for electrical services to ensure compliance and efficiency
Repair, maintain, and diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
Translate process flow diagrams and equipment technical drawings, inspect critical equipment to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs
Perform routine installation and maintenance tasks onsite according to technical drawings and specifications
Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools
Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs
Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
What You Would Bring:
Advanced skills in repairing, maintaining, and diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting
Extensive experience in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
Knowledge of common drafting tools, procedures, processes, blueprints, and technical drawing specifications
Ability to design and deploy electrical solutions across diverse environments and applications
Experience with electrical cabinet architecture and ability to develop and construct efficient cabinet systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
5+ years of experience in a similar role or related field

The hourly wage range for this position is $30.85-$32.85*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Must be 18 years of age
