Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Construction Engineering II for immediate employment in Orange, CA.

The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:

Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.

Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.

Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.

Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.

Provides clerical assistance to the office engineer for a construction management team.

Develops and maintains spreadsheets. Updates and utilizes Primavera Contract Management Software, or similar software for tracking project submittal documents and metrics.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS + 2 years of relatable experience or demonstrared equivalency of experience and/or eduycation.

Valid California Class C driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years Clerical experience or Office Administration experience in construction field.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point software.

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $72,330.00 - $125,000.00.
