Description We are in search of an Accounting Administrator in Richardson, Texas, United States. This role is vital in our construction industry, where you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing. This opportunity offers an exciting chance to contribute to our team and aid in our company's growth.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently handle Accounts Receivable duties including AIA billing, AR aging & reporting, and cash applications

Ensure lien & lien waivers are processed, as well as insurance compliance reporting and documentation for subcontractors

Manage Accounts Payable responsibilities including subcontractor documentation compliance, vendor management, and full-cycle AP

Process expense reports and ensure accurate data entry

Oversee job costing/job codes and AP entries

Handle AIA billing & WIP billing and reporting, as well as progress billing

Undertake light collections for commercial accounts

Contribute to portfolio management for commercial and industrial units

Participate in month-end closing activities. Requirements - Proven work experience as an Accounting Administrator, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

Proficient in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.

Demonstrable experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), effectively managing cash flow.

Proven ability in Billing and Data Entry, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring payments and invoices are up to date.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

Familiarity with QuickBooks and Sage 100 for managing business finances and payroll.

Experience in Commercial Construction Projects accounting, managing budgets and financial planning.

Knowledge of Construction Accounting, managing project costs and financial forecasting.

Background in the Construction industry, understanding the financial aspects of construction projects.

Familiarity with Construction Cost and Construction Projects, managing budgets and financial aspects.

Knowledge of Liens and their impact on construction project financing.

Experience in AIA Billing, managing payments in the construction industry.

Familiarity with Subcontract Agreements, understanding their financial and contractual implications.
