Job Description

While this job description outlines the key responsibilities of the position, it is not all-encompassing. The primary goal of every role is to ensure outstanding guest service, whether by fulfilling requests personally or directing them to the appropriate department. Below is a summary of the major responsibilities for this position.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.

Provide upscale service with extensive knowledge of fine dining standards.

Possess in-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, and beer, as well as the full food menu.

Confidently sell and present wine selections to guests.

Demonstrate strong sales and communication skills.

Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.

Take and deliver orders efficiently.

Provide attentive service and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.

Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including bar tops and surrounding spaces.

Assist with service bar operations.

Adhere to uniform and appearance standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Micros POS system, telephone, copier, file folders, fax machine, and other standard office equipment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in full-service bar operations, including beer, wine, and liquor.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Potential exposure to hazardous cleaning chemicals.

Regular interaction with food and beverage products.
