Pratt & Whitney has a rewarding and challenging opportunity to lead our Durable/Perishable Manufacturing Tooling and Chemical Management organization within Operational Excellence (OpX). This role demands more than just expertise; it requires a relentless pursuit of excellence. Your focus will be on US-based Module Centers & Operations (MC&O) durable and perishable tooling design standards, execution, procurement, fulfillment, compliance excellence, and chemical information management. Your scope spans all US-based sites.
It is expected that the ideal candidate has proven experience developing a long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) and operational direction. You will build on and improve business processes, establish strategies to reduce tooling timelines, institute and/or help enable Industry 4.0 technologies, and seek to optimize costs. The ability to interact with and influence others to accept practices and approaches as well as the ability to communicate and influence executive leadership will be critical to success.
What You Will Do:
Lead the organization through a tremendous period of growth and challenges. You will support commercial, military, EH&S, and development/New Product Introduction (NPI) program tooling requirements with 20+ geographically dispersed team members.
Leverage the team's expertise while utilizing SAP and SAP-based performance management applications to lead all facets of MC&O tooling fulfillment.
Champion process improvement: Lead efforts to design, implement, and transform processes that reduce tooling order processing times, lead times, costs, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality, Global Trade compliance, and performance.
Drive the adoption of standards across MC&O to empower game-changing organizational effectiveness, cost competitiveness, and execution.
Manage a team of professionals through mentorship, development, outsourcing oversight, resource planning, and strategic planning.
Maintain positive and professional contact with colleagues and leaders across Operations, Finance, Legal, Global Trade, Digital Technologies, and tooling OEMs.
Support a strong customer-centric culture that empowers the team through trust.
Collaborate and partner with Operations (Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, teammates across MC&O to deliver tooling on or ahead of requirement.
Innovate for the Future: Lead and/or participate in Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., tool management software, model-based enterprise, and in-house analytics) to drive efficiency and deliver long-term benefits.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Formal leadership experience.
Expected travel is normally 15-20%.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Executive level communication and presentation skills and experience.
Demonstrated competency in working within a highly matrixed, team environment.
Ability to dive into the detail and be hands on to bridge gaps where the teams need assistance.
Proficient in Project Management tools (i.e., MS Project) or similar project tool(s).
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers.
Experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in aerospace.
Ability to remain self-driven and highly motivated in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to interface with technical and business experts.
Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders (e.g. both external and internal).
Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis utilizing business acumen to provide viable recommendations regarding transition strategies to business and operations leadership.
Process transformation experience (create and evaluate business cases).
Experience utilizing CORE tools.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
