Machine Tool Maintenance Manager is a Multi-Component Operations Center role at the Raytheon Andover, MA facility. This position has overall responsibility for the Machine Tool Maintenance team consist of 15+ employees across 3 shifts of operations. The MTM Manager will ensure multi-layered teams are working in compliance with site regulations, trainings, and maintain safe work environment. The successful candidate will lead the team of people in a fast paced and dynamic environment to ensure maintenance of machinery and systems supporting manufacturing operations, and meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of support to complete critical repairs and preventive maintenance.
The ideal candidate will demonstrated skills and experience necessary to actively lead, engage, and implement continuous improvement projects utilizing CORE methodologies. This role requires daily interactions with infrastructure teams in various value streams and sites to repair, maintain equipment and systems to meet organizational goals and objectives.
What You Will Do
Supports deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive improvements in the processes
Review and update Preventative Maintenance tasks for effectiveness using data analytics
Perform a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, failure triage support and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing operations
Workforce planning and forecasting
Employee hiring and Training
Capital identification and control of overhead expenses
Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures
Management of Vendors and suppliers
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Operations.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Prior Management experience, preferably in a maintenance organization
Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision and/or direction
Basic knowledge and understanding theory of constraints
Manufacturing or industrial engineering and supervisory experience in the aerospace/defense industry, in a union environment
Strong team and communication skills in a cross-functional team environment
Experience using data analytics to support business strategy
Experience understanding metric variances to effectively drive success

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
