Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team. The front desk clerk will be responsible for adding patients to the clinic schedule on a first-come, first-serve basis. The role also includes verifying all patient demographics in the system and providing patients with information on their wait times. Additionally, the candidate will assist with various administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Add patients to the clinic schedule on a first-come, first-serve basis

Verify all patient demographics in the system

Provide patients with information on expected wait times

Assist with administrative responsibilities as needed

Answer phone calls and handle front desk operations

Deliver excellent customer service to patients

High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment

This position operates within a clinic environment across multiple locations including Mt. Kisco, Putnam Hospital (Brewster), Rhinebeck, Kingston, Poughkeepsie, and Yorktown. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm or 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The role offers room for growth and, upon becoming a permanent employee, eligibility for healthcare, vision, and dental insurance, as well as 401K options after one year of employment. The workplace is supportive of professional development and offers a collaborative environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
