Warehouse Worker Job Description

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM), with every other Saturday required.

Pay Rate:

$27.50 per hour

Dress Code:

Casual, but appropriate, Steel-toe boots required for safety.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Position Overview:

The warehouse worker plays a key role in the success of the warehouse by performing a variety of duties including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This is a physically demanding role, and candidates should be prepared to be on their feet for the majority of their shift in a fast-paced, loud environment. Working conditions are influenced by weather and seasons, which can affect temperature control in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Count truck inventory and maintain accurate records of finished goods transported out of the facility.

Receive finished goods into inventory and maintain appropriate records.

Audit orders using required technology and distribute products accordingly.

Perform general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as needed.

Lift objects weighing between 15 to 50 pounds (e.g., bowling ball to a twin-size mattress), with or without reasonable accommodation.

Sort cartons, clean, load, and unload items from trailers.

Assist in weekly product inventory.

Service cartons to crane operators and production.

Control carton inventory and recycle old cardboard.

Wear required safety attire including steel-toe boots, hairnet, safety glasses, and bump cap.

Requirements:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.

Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as necessary.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods.

Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to wear required safety attire.

Must wear steel-toed boots to enter the facility

Pay Details: $27.50 per hour
