Role Overview

Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Cambridge Hospital located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Cambridge Hospital is a part of the Cambridge Health Alliance System based in the Boston Area. The manager will oversee a team of 40 hourly hospital employees and 2 Sodexo managers.

What You'll Do

have oversight of day-to-day operations, including interaction with patients, nursing staff, and customers

manage monthly inventory and handle weekly Sysco ordering

oversee training for all staff members

manage food safety and sanitation compliance

achieve company and client financial targets and goals

oversee patient tray assessments

ensure all Sodexo and hospital standards are met

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
