DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Administrative Assistant 1, your role will encompass a variety of administrative tasks, including purchasing, personnel management, timekeeping, and budgetary and fiscal analysis. You will take on a leadership position among clerical staff and will be responsible for managing incoming revenue and visitor services. Your duties will include purchasing material and services; overseeing and tracking expenditure related to the operational and maintenance budget as well as special projects; preparing correspondence; organizing files; and welcoming the public. Additionally, you will maintain time and attendance records, including recording employee absences within the park.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
