Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in various stages of the production process, including formulation, processing, packaging, and cleaning. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Weigh powders (chemicals) from original containers into small to large transfer containers while monitoring room temperature and humidity.

Load chemicals into large stainless-steel blenders and use an equipment operation interface to preblend/mill/postblend.

Monitor automated processes and troubleshoot as necessary.

Prepare materials, pack out powder into containers (barrels, buckets, bottles etc.), and palletize filled containers.

Break down and set up equipment, hook up hoses/piping using gaskets/clamps, spray down rooms, and load equipment into parts-wash.

Operate and monitor automated cleaning processes.

Perform basic computer tasks as required.

Write legibly, clearly, and accurately in logbooks and company records.

Essential Skills

6+ months of manufacturing experience.

Basic mechanical aptitude.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to maneuver and position mechanical components up to 50 kg.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Quality experience preferred.

Computer skills.

Ability to complete paper-based documentation.

Attention to detail.

Willingness to learn.

Good attitude and attendance.

Work Environment

Work in a clean room manufacturing environment where you will wear a cleanroom suit for safety and cleanliness. The shift schedule is 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am, following a 2 on 2 off 3 on 2 off rotation. Scrubs must be worn inside manufacturing areas over your clothes. Safety shoes, glasses, and N95 masks are required for certain tasks, and employees must be able to pass a fit test for mask usage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.28 - $23.41/hr.
