Position Summary: SOVAH Danville is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The CMA will:

Perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.

Underthe supervision of a physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.

Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.

Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.

Document patient careis given.

Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.

Maintain examination areas.

Minimum Education:**

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree required or other certificatesinstead ofAssociate'sare required.

Required Certifications/Licenses:

A Medical Assistant Certificate or Registration is required.

BasicLife Support (BLS) American Heart Association required.

Required Skills:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
