Description We are on the search for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team in SCHAUMBURG, Illinois. This role functions within the manufacturing industry and focuses on planning and procuring raw materials to support the production of goods. The Supply Chain Planner will also liaise with customer service to ensure timely delivery of products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Implement supply chain strategies to maintain adequate inventory levels and minimize production interruptions.

Process customer requirements into production orders, adjusting machine needs and processes to meet customer demands.

Monitor and manage material shortages, devising corrective strategies when necessary.

Utilize ERP data to review current inventory positions and determine necessary procurements.

Conduct regular reviews and adjustments of forecasted demand to ensure accurate material purchases.

Identify and communicate risks associated with changes in forecasted material needs to the management and sales teams.

Participate in weekly reviews of production/materials, procurement for key materials, and coordination of material availability with the scheduling team.

Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with plant management, customer service, and sales teams.

Expedite order planning and production in compliance with internal rules and procedures.

Review, challenge, and adapt to changes in forecasted demand to ensure the correct purchase of materials. Requirements - Proficiency in 3M is essential for this role.

Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required.

Familiarity with Eaton is a crucial requirement.

Applicants must possess knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

Understanding and experience with ERP Solutions are necessary.

Proficiency in About Time is a key requirement.

Excellent customer service skills are mandatory for this role.

Experience with KPI Reporting is required.

Knowledge and experience in logistics are necessary.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
