Job Title: Warehouse Shipping/Receiving

Job Description

Prepare all documents including bills of lading and shipping orders for both domestic and international shipments. Determine, set up, and log all freight shipments for products via land, air, and sea. Perform inventory control, load and unload trucks, and conduct cycle counting and data entry. Crate all production for shipment using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. Manufacture crates if needed and assist in the assembly of products when required.

Responsibilities

Prepare bills of lading and shipping orders for domestic and international shipments.

Determine, set up, and log all freight shipments for products via land, air, and sea.

Perform inventory control tasks.

Load and unload trucks.

Conduct cycle counting and data entry.

Crate production for shipment using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.

Manufacture crates if needed.

Assist in the assembly of products as necessary.

Essential Skills

1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving.

1+ years of international shipping/freight experience.

Knowledge of UPS and FedEx.

Understanding and previous use of MRP systems.

Forklift Certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with crating and packaging.

Order picking experience.

Work Environment

Very nice, large open environment. Temperature-controlled warehouse and assembly area. Open production area that flows into the warehouse space. High ceilings and bright work stations. The culture promotes independent workers who can also collaborate as a team. The facility has approximately 20 employees in the production area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
