SCA Finance & Accounting Operations Technician
Location : This is a virtual position. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health Pulse Point locations listed on this requisition.
National Government Services is a proud member of Elevance Health's family of brands. We administer government contracts for Medicare and partner with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to transform federal health programs.
The SCA Finance & Accounting Operations Technician is responsible for performing diverse operational financial and policy activities of a less routine nature. Responsible for maintaining compliance activity, exceptional customer service, and data processing and balancing.
How you will make an impact:
Receives, validates, and enters information into Finance systems.
Audit documentation for accuracy.
Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Resolves more routine issues or questions.
Reconciles various system outputs and receives and processes special requests.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a HS Diploma; 2-4 years relevant work experience; or any combination of education and experience, which provides an equivalent background.
This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division, which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Capabilities
Basic accounting and general ledger experience is preferred.
An AA Degree in accounting is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel strongly is preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $19.04 to $20.00.
Locations: New York, Maryland.
