The Role

The HII Corporate Admin Assistant to VP provides administrative support to the Corporate VP and Treasurer and Treasury staff. They will work in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of detailed-oriented tasks, many of a highly confidential and critical nature. This position requires significant teamwork and involves contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company that requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Will require in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. Will require the highest ethical standards, exercise sound judgement and common sense, and demonstrate appropriate emotional intelligence at all times.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Providing executive assistant support to the Corporate VP and Treasurer, Assistant Treasurers and staff, as well as duties assigned

Scheduling and providing logistical support for meetings and conferences, including collecting/preparing information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals.

Receiving and assisting executives, visitors and guests

Prepare department reports and correspondence

Perform duties as department Security Representative and Records Retention Coordinator

Arranging and supporting executive travel

Serving as a resource for other executives and department staff in the conduct of departmental operations

Should develop a good working relationship between CFO administrative assistant and other executive assistants.

Must Have

High School/GED and 6 years of additional education and/or experience.

Nice to Have

Demonstrated progressively responsible administrative experience, including support of executive personnel.

Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, work effectively under stress, adapt to changing schedules and short deadlines.

Excellent knowledge of the rules of English grammar and composition, as well as office procedures and the use of various office machines and software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Be self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Highly professional, with demonstrated judgment, diplomacy and sensitivity to confidential matters.
