Senior Administrative Coordinator - Intellectual Property

The Senior Administrative Coordinator will provide general administrative support to the Intellectual Property (IP) Group within the Law Department. The role will report to the head of Therapeutic IP and will work with and provide administrative support to multiple patent attorneys, agents and paralegals within the IP Group.

This role is based at Regeneron's Corporate & Research HQ in Tarrytown, NY and is not open for remote work arrangements

A typical day may include:

Coordinating and obtaining signatures from various scientific personnel and managers on official documents for submission to patent offices and outside counsel.

Scheduling and organizing meetings, including setting up A/V resources and ordering meals/refreshments.

Greeting and directing visitors, and working with Security to ensure proper compliance is followed in regards to visitors and outside vendors.

Maintaining files.

Maintaining calendars.

Managing travel arrangements.

Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment.

Sorting, screening, and distributing of incoming and outgoing mail

Requesting repairs and following up with various departments on technical issues (IT, Facilities, etc.).

Processing Expense and Reimbursement Reports.

Tracking deadlines and ensuring completion of projects.

Providing assistance to Paralegal and Docketing functions from time to time, as may be necessary.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple leaders and create effective processes

Ability to prioritize, strong organizational, planning, and project management skills are vital

Demonstrated mastery in oral and written technical communication

Solid understanding of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and Adobe Acrobat Pro is required.

To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor's or Associate's degree and 3+ years of experience working in a professional or legal environment. Experience working in an in-house IP Group is a plus.
