Director Human Resources, Longs Peak and Broomfield Hospitals
The Human Resources Director at Longs Peak and Broomfield Hospitals will direct the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization. This position reports to the Vice President Human Resources, Metro Denver.
Responsibilities
Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

Education/Certification
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
Minimum Experience: 5 years of relevant experience.

Change Management Skills: Ability to lead and support organizational change.
Pay: $131,705 - $210,724 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
