Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Arlington, Texas for a Staff Accountant in the Hospitality industry. The role involves managing both Accounts Payable and Receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, processing customer credit applications, and maintaining precise customer credit records.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently process and post accounts payable invoices for multiple entities in a high-volume environment

Handle processing and posting of employee expense reports

Conduct weekly check runs for accounts payable

Process vendor applications and handle W-9 requests

Prepare and post journal entries, including Inter-Company entries and transfers

Manage daily cash postings for accounts receivable

Reconcile activities between accounting software and CRM

Remotely process bank deposits and reconcile several bank accounts each month

Prepare monthly financials for multiple entities and enter financial transactions into accounting software

Participate in monthly close and annual audits of multiple entities

Prepare account reconciliations, including sales taxes, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and special events

Research and resolve problems, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Analyze accounts, records, and reports for accuracy and completeness

Compile financial data for weekly reporting and analysis

Assist with other accounting projects as necessary. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

Knowledge of General Ledger management

Experience in recording Journal Entries

Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

Proficiency in using NetSuite software

Experience with Oracle software

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Knowledge of SAP software

Experience with Sage Intacct software
