Job Title: Securities Analyst

Job Description

Responsible for taking out bond and loan calculations from large legal documents, and uploading them into an Access-like database. This role manages large loan portfolios which includes managing transactions, balancing and reconciling daily cash, and reporting on monthly and quarterly cash positions for loan holders and investors.

Essential Skills

Finance

Accounting

Mathematics

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Bachelor Degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Finance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in an analytical role and/or within a banking environment is preferred.

Involvement in extracurricular activities while in school.

Work Environment

Individuals will manage large loan portfolios ranging from $300M to $2B. Portions of these loans are sold to hundreds and sometimes thousands of investors. This role involves a heavy amount of pulling client data to ensure accuracy. There will be expectations to work additional hours, roughly 5 per week. This team in Charlotte is relatively new, so new hires will have the opportunity to build something special. There are ample growth opportunities within the team, including promotions and potential to become an Account Manager.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
