Job Title: Invoice SpecialistJob Description

This role will be responsible for invoice entry and follow through, ensuring that all invoices are entered accurately according to vendor contract terms, organized by proper purchase order or service contract number, and allocated to appropriate cost centers. You will maintain frequent contact with internal and external parties to obtain and/or clarify missing or unclear information.

Responsibilities

Allocate invoices to appropriate cost centers.

Maintain frequent contact with internal and external parties to clarify missing or unclear information.

Ensure accurate coding and cost center allocation for invoices.

Bring proposed solutions to problems when asking questions.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in invoice entry and analysis.

Experience with invoice software.

Associate's Degree in a business-related field or at least five years of corporate accounts payable experience.

Experience with invoice resolution and vendor invoices.

Experience with any ERP system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proactive communication and solution-oriented mindset.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote and can be performed from locations within one hour of Charlotte (NC), Greensboro/Winston-Salem (NC), Wilmington (NC), Charleston (SC), and Hilton Head Island (SC). The role requires discipline and a proactive approach to communicating with management. The company works with roughly 13,000 vendors, each with multiple invoices of varying complexity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
