Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder inValdosta, GA.

$1450 or more per week - And it gets better

Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly

Weekly Guarantee $1400 per week

Solo Miles Pay:?$0.342 per Mile with 1300 - 2200 Miles per Week

Solo Stops Pay:?$7.76 per Stop with 40 Stops per Week

Daily Flat Rate: $128.72

Alro Tenure Bonus:?Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter

Paid Training

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Start Time: 6:30 AM

Deliver SOLO?To:?South GA, North FL, up to Macon, GA

Route: Local Home Daily

Tractor Type: Day Cab

Trailer?Type:?Flatbed 48' and 53' - 6 months Flatbed experience required

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Freight:?Load Securement Only -Strapping all loads and tarping in all weather.

Freight: Touch - Steel and Metal

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
