Are you a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for supporting sales operations? Robert Half is working with a client in the manufacturing industry to hire a Sales Assistant who will play a pivotal role in supporting their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into an engaging and fast-paced environment with strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including updating sales reports, tracking orders, and managing client records.

Coordinate communication between sales representatives, customers, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless workflow.

Prepare and edit sales presentations, proposals, and other client-facing documents.

Process and manage orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, while maintaining critical documentation.

Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to maintain strong client relationships.

Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with operations teams and assist with order fulfillment.

Perform data entry using Microsoft Excel and other databases to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Support the onboarding of new clients and assist with implementation of sales leads.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an administrative or sales assistant, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to create detailed spreadsheets or reports.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or other sales platforms (preferred but not required).

A team-oriented, proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with manufacturing processes or industrial sales support.

Background working with supply chain management or inventory coordination (a plus).
