Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager to help operate a potential child nutrition partnership with schools in McKinney, TX . Candidate will have K-12 Public schools knowledge of Child Nutrition regulations and will work directly with district employees and school sites, implementing signage/marketing program, gathering customer data, through surveys, focus groups and taste testing. This is a potential sale and contingent offers will be made. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. Joining us at one of our school sites means fostering healthy learning environments and positively influencing the students' well-being and performance.

What You'll Do

Deliver high quality food service;

Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

Develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

Create a positive environment;

Have oversight of day-to-day operations by making sure menu planning, meal pattern compliance, recipes, and HACCP standards are being followed; and

Create a positive environment, on a schedule that is typically M-F with nights/weekends off.

Food service operations experience

Well organized, critical thinker, resourceful, and self-motivated

Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving food service programs

Basic professional cooking knowledge

Valid driver's license required

ServSafe Certified

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 yearswork experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
