Description

We are initiating a search for a Staff Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of journal entries, general ledger, and account reconciliations. This position is based in Kiel, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of processing accounts payable and accounts receivable

Preparing monthly journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts

Performing bank account reconciliations and monitoring credit card and expense reporting

Supporting daily accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cost accounting functions

Undertaking special projects as assigned by the management.

Requirements - Possess a comprehensive understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

Have a strong background in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

Demonstrate proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

Exhibit a solid understanding of General Ledger management and its role in financial reporting

Be proficient in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries in accordance with accounting standards

Have experience in handling Month End Close procedures, ensuring timely completion and accuracy

Display expertise in utilizing NetSuite for managing and streamlining accounting tasks
