JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Database Updates: Utilize the database to maintain constituency information for fundraisers ensuring data is updated and current, retrieve information and reports, following department processes. 2. Portfolio Assistance: Support fundraisers in tracking leadership travel in regions, annual plan creating and tracking, communicate with volunteers, donors, friends, and other departments throughout the university by responding to various questions and requests for information. 3. Administration and travel planning: Organize and schedule team meetings, agendas, and calendars and meetings using Microsoft Outlook. Organize travel itinerary details, including flight, car rental and hotel accommodation for fundraisers. Handle incoming phone calls, mail and electronic correspondence using strong customer service skills. Prepare data reports, correspondence and all other necessary documents using software including Microsoft Excel and Word. Proofread and edit documents as needed. 4. Budget Management: Manage budgets, including tracking expenses in Marquette\'s Financial System, coordinating payments through the university\'s purchasing system as well as assisting with budget projections. 5. Responsible for the supervision of student employees which includes but is not limited to hiring, training, disciplinary actions, ending the student\'s assignment, etc. 6. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of two years of related experience. Solid knowledge of grammar and strong written, verbal, and creative skills. Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail; strong customer service skills with the ability to problem solve Familiarity with a business environment and procedures Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize work Work efficiently in a team-oriented setting Complete tasks with minimal supervision Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A Bachelor\'s degree is preferred.
