Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Thiensville, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be at the helm of all financial and accounting functions across our business domains, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and overall financial wellbeing. This role also plays an integral part in the executive leadership team, making critical contributions towards financial strategy and business growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Supervise and manage the month-end and year-end financial close processes, generating reports and meeting compliance deadlines

Collaborate with the company's external accounting firm to manage tax filings, financial reports, and other regulatory requirements

Actively participate in the executive team, contributing insights and strategies for financial planning and business growth

Manage payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely disbursements

Oversee the use of real-time COGS tracking software, while supervising a direct report handling costing analysis

Manage accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR) and invoicing, with support from a direct report responsible for these areas

Conduct regular financial oversight of multiple business entities

Leverage skills in Quickbooks Online and Financial Statement preparation for effective financial management

Apply knowledge of budgeting and forecasting to enhance financial planning and analysis. Requirements - Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role or similar.

Proficient in all accounting functions including but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Extensive experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Should be adept at using Quickbooks Online for accounting tasks.

Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements is a must.

Familiarity with the calculation and analysis of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

Experience in managing payroll functions for a medium to large-sized team.

Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to anticipate financial trends and patterns.
