Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a General Office Clerk in STAMFORD, Connecticut. This role is within an industry that requires a high level of organization and detail orientation. As a General Office Clerk, your main function will be to manage customer relations, maintain records, and ensure smooth administrative operations.

Responsibilities:

Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner

Ensure efficient processing of customer credit applications

Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

Monitor customer accounts and take prompt action when necessary

Organize files and documents for easy retrieval and efficient record keeping

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other administrative tasks

Provide general administrative assistance as needed

Deliver exceptional customer service at all times Requirements - Possess strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients and staff.

Demonstrated experience in organizing files, both physical and digital, ensuring easy access and efficient retrieval.

Familiarity with office equipment, such as photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines.

Basic knowledge of word processing tools, spreadsheets, and databases.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

High school diploma or equivalent.
