Are you passionate about supporting Behavioral Health & Justice Involved Population and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist to join the Suffolk County Social and Community Justice services programs.

Salary: $20

Schedule: 9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday

Location: Suffolk, NY

Reports to: Program Director

What drives the core purpose of this job:

The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for providing reception, administrative and operational support.

What are the key responsibilities:

Answer, screen and direct phone calls, and perform receptionist functions and general office duties.

Order and maintain inventory of office supplies.

Generate Purchase Orders for programs.

Sort and distribute daily mail; deposit outgoing mail.

Conduct data entry as requested.

Maintain postage meter, copier, fax machine, and conference room calendars.

Maintain office equipment inventory and make service calls as needed.

Order and maintain records of all office needs.

Maintain calendar and schedule use of shared conference rooms.

What key knowledge, skills, and abilities are required to excel in this role:

Minimum of one year of prior office work experience required.

Must be proficient in office and computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar program, and e-mail and/or database software skills necessary to perform job responsibilities.

General office skills required including a pleasant phone manner and good organizational and interpersonal skills.
