Description
We are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager for a contract opportunity with a leading organization in the education sector. This hybrid role is based in Los Altos, CA, requiring a mix of onsite collaboration and remote work. The ideal candidate has a background in education marketing and excels in developing compelling messaging, managing integrated campaigns, and driving audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing communication strategies tailored for the education sector.
Create compelling content for various channels, including digital, print, and social media, with a deep understanding of messaging that resonates with educators, administrators, and students.
Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including messaging, asset development, and performance tracking.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including product marketing, design, and sales, to ensure consistency in brand messaging.
Oversee external communications, including PR initiatives, media relations, and thought leadership opportunities within the education space.
Analyze campaign performance and optimize communication strategies based on insights.
Ensure brand voice and messaging consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in marketing communications, with a strong focus on the education industry.
Deep understanding of marketing strategies tailored to higher education or edtech audiences.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience in B2B or B2C education marketing.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools, email marketing platforms, and content management systems.
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with PR, media outreach, and event marketing within the education space is a plus.
