Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in MIDDLEFIELD, Ohio. This role involves a variety of accounting and clerical tasks within a growing organization. The successful candidate will handle tasks such as processing accounts payable and receivable, cash posting, maintaining accurate records, and helping to modernize our processes. This role offers the opportunity for growth and development within our team.

Responsibilities:

Handle accounts payable tasks, including the creation of vouchers.

Manage accounts receivable duties.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records.

Assist with cash posting operations.

Help to update and improve our accounting processes and controls.

Use Microsoft Excel to update spreadsheets and apply formulas as needed.

Contribute to general accounting tasks.

Enter payments into the system accurately and timely.

Participate in collection activities.

Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.

Assist in the development of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Work on process improvements for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

This role provides a great opportunity to develop your accounting skills while working towards updating and improving our accounting processes. Requirements - Proficient in account reconciliation, capable of balancing and maintaining accurate ledgers

Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP), including processing payments and tracking expenses

Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), including issuing invoices, maintaining customer relations, and ensuring prompt payments

Proficient in invoice processing, capable of accurately recording and tracking invoices

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and chart making
