As a Full-Time Staff Accountant at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll be at the heart of our daily operations, managing the dynamic environment of Armada. Your role will include analyzing monthly financials to provide insights that drive efficiency. You'll adeptly handle sending out statements and processing crucial orders, sales invoices, AP invoices, and cash receipts while maintaining fixed assets for VCC, VB, and FC.

You'll take charge of preparing and processing vital quarterly and annual filings, including IFTA, 2290, UCR Registration, and various tax obligations. Reconciling bank statements and assisting the Assistant Controller and CFO in account analysis will be integral to your contributions. Additionally, you will process CMS invoices weekly, track essential metrics, and compile information for sales tax filings in MN and WI, including refund submissions.

What you need to be successful

To thrive as a Full-Time Staff Accountant at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll need a robust skill set paired with a 4-year BS degree in accounting and accounting experience. Your knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and practices will be essential in navigating the complexities of daily operations. Proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel, Great Plains, QuickBooks, and AS400 is crucial, along with strong 10-key skills for efficient data entry.

You should excel at following directions, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining confidentiality. Effective and professional communication with employees, management, and external contacts is paramount, ensuring smooth collaboration across the board. A keen attention to detail and accuracy will set you apart as you tackle financial analysis and reconciliation.
