Construction Project ManagerJob Description

Located on the NW side of Indianapolis-We are seeking a Project Manager for small to large retail, commercial, and religious (church) projects. This role involves managing subcontractors and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Oversee subcontractors, scheduling, and project timelines.

Collaborate with the Superintendent on budget status.

Handle all invoicing and accounting tasks.

Create work-in-progress and cost status reports.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Essential Skills

Experience working with chains that require quick timelines for turnover

Experience running 3-5 projects simultaneously.

Willingness to travel 3 days per month out of state or in-state.

5+ years of experience with commercial construction/retail construction.

Experience with projects of $2-$10+ million.

3+ ground-up projects with site work.

Remodel experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Projects.

Familiarity with AIA billing.

Experience with field administrative work (RFIs, Submittals).

Ability to read blueprints and civil drawings.

Maintain good client relationships.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree in construction management or related field (preferred).

Experience with public construction projects, institutional construction, and national account programs.

Work Environment

The work environment is office-based, with travel to sites 3 days per month. The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. The environment is calm, with structured processes to avoid conflict. Additional benefits include BBQs 2-3 times every summer for employees, a charity golf outing once a year, and training opportunities such as Procore Training. There is also schedule flexibility when work is completed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $57.69/hr.
