Job Overview:

Assists the Medical Practices staff including Ambulatory Care and Special Needs Primary Care by providing clerical support services, ordering supplies, facilitating provider onboarding and overseeing provider schedule templates,

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma

Preferred:

Previous hospital or physician's office experience

Day

Job Functions:

Oversees and facilitates new provider onboarding completes IT and system access requests and general site orientation

Completes initial provider templates and submits template change and PTO requests in collaboration with section chief

Process forms or letter requests as needed

Provide support services to facilitate family centered care

Manages and responds to patient caregiver inquiries in a timely and professional manner,

Manages provider expense reimbursement requests and time audits

Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills that facilitate positive customer relationships and staff interactions

Provides scheduling support as needed to address same day emergent provider requests,

Initiates all patient calls in a professional and courteous manner

Prioritizes duties and responsibilities and completes them accurately and in a timely fashion

Demonstrates an ability to adapt to changing circumstances related to internal and external factors

Provides coverage as required

Maintains competence and demonstrates responsible judgment by updating knowledge, referring problems through appropriate channels and observing policies and procedures

Orders and maintains practice supplies and equipment

Other duties as requested by manager and providers
