Legal Affairs and Operations Specialist, ZPA LLC d/b/a Seward Hospitality Group, Seward, AK: Coordinate compliance and operational facets of our diverse portfolio (restaurants, hotels, charter boats, and an adventure park), while also managing legal interactions for the organization.

Duties and responsibilities of the position include:

Conceptualize, plan, and execute new projects within the hospitality group;

Liaise with legal professionals to navigate regulatory requirements, identify compliance issues that require investigation, and ensure legal compliance for the organization;

Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure the organizations reporting requirements are met, and negotiate service contracts and agreements;

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to fruition for various operational matters;

Act as a liaison between various departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration;

Interface with key stakeholders, providing updates on projects, challenges, and performance metrics;

Monitor and optimize the efficiency of current operations across all sectors;

Collaborate with department heads to implement best practices and streamline processes; and

Address operational challenges promptly to maintain high standards of service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

A bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign degree equivalent) in law, pre-law, legal studies, or a closely related field of study.

SKILLS/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Six months of experience with each of the following:

Assisting in the preparation and management of legal documents;

Coordinating with legal counsel, clients, or other parties involved in legal proceedings; and

Organizing and maintaining files, and tracking deadlines.

Experience may be gained concurrently. Coursework or internship experience accepted.
