Job Title: Janitorial Services Staff

Work Locations: Multiple college campuses in Glenns, Warsaw, Kilmarnock, and New Kent, Virginia

Job Summary: ZHAKFAR is seeking reliable and dedicated Janitorial Services Staff to support college campuses across the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck region. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional learning environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas on daily and scheduled cycles.

Operate vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other cleaning equipment.

Collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclables.

Follow safety procedures and handle cleaning materials according to OSHA standards.

Maintain secure use and storage of supplies.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Wear company uniform and ID badge; follow site security protocols.

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred (school or multi-site a plus).

Ability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Must pass a criminal background check as required by Virginia law.

Basic English skills required to follow instructions and read safety guidelines.

Valid drivers license preferred.

Compensation and Schedule:

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Uniforms and ID provided.

Full-time and part-time schedules available; shifts may include days or evenings.
