Essential Responsibilities (this is only an estimate and may vary)

50% On shop floor to perform part inspections to the print and other applicable specifications for Receiving, First part, In Process, Final, Pre-Outside Processing, and Final product.
20% Maintain and improve the Gage Management System including calibration,documentation, training, input on purchasing, and gage maintenance.
20% Document, track, and report nonconformances so that corrective andpreventive actions can be taken to eliminate the causes. Also, assist in thedetermination of root causes and corrective and preventive actions.
10% CMM programming.

Job Tasks:
Be an integral part of the setup process by identifying and setting gauges that are needed for upcoming work orders.
Inspect parts per the prints (first part buy off, in process, final inspection and outside processes) and other applicable specifications.
Clean and calibrate inspection, measuring and test equipment.
Clean the lab, QC staging area and the QC nonconforming hold areas.
Send inspection, measuring and test equipment out for calibration.
Participate in Internal Audits.
Complete ISIRs for customers.
Deal with customers on any issues that may arise (issues RGA when necessary).

9.Contact customers for engineering deviations.
Contact vendors on discrepant material.

Ability to complete training and attend seminars as needed.

Safety:

Required use of safety glasses and other safety devices deemed

necessary.

Other:

Occasional overtime including weekends when scheduled.

Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
