1st shift-Maintenance Technician, $32.50-Lansing

Workbox Staffing is hiring Maintenance Technicians in Lansing:

This company's specialty is the robotic welding of parts utilized in the automotive industry. They are looking for someone that has the ability to fix and maintain the machinery in the facility. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the field, be able to fabricate (ie-weld) when needed, and have knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and automation equipment. You must be able to read and understand blueprints while keeping thorough documentation. If you have the experience, we have the job for you.

Qualifications:

Work safety, following safety work instruction or designated safety procedures (such as Lock Out Tag Out) Lead development of cells(s) during launch to de-but and assist in correcting all tooling, robotic, controls, weld cycle and all other equipment-related improvements. Troubleshoot machine breakdown and carry out remedial actions. Supports all necessary date collection required for cell and product improvement initiatives. Inspect all machinery for defects and potential problems in accordance with preventative maintenance program: repair and replace parts as needed. Perform general equipment maintenance duties as required e.g. Cleaning, oiling and greasing machines according to preventative maintenance program. Program robots for sealants, adhesives, mastic, MIG and resistance welding

SKILLS: Minumun 5 years experience in Maintenance repair, able to ready blueprint drawings, experience with presses up to 1500 tons, automation, robotics, welders, and ect. Strong knowledge of electrical functions, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery and automation equipment. Ability to operator all maintenance equipment
