The Women's Center is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an Administrative Assistant. This position works 32 hours per week with full-time equivalent benefits. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Associate's Degree in relevant field preferred. Training and work history will be considered.

Experience with Microsoft Office programs, database entry and maintenance, spreadsheet applications, and office operations required.

Excellent written and oral skills required.

Act 33/34/FBI Clearances must be current for hire.

GENERAL DUTIES:

Responsible for coverage of the Center's phone lines during business hours, to include screening and directing all calls to appropriate staff.Provides reception and assistance to clients and visitors to the administrative office.

Responsible for coordination and oversight of the Center's security and phone systems.

Responsible for tracking in-kind donations and volunteer hours.Completes data entry, policy updates, meeting minutes, employment postings, and inventory/ordering of supplies.

Responsible for coordination of all mailings, obtaining daily P.O. Box mail, thank you letters and correspondence.

Responsible to participate in planning and staffing agency events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ability to engage in prolonged periods of standing or sitting while answering the phone or completing admin tasks.

Ability to hear and verbally respond to individuals calling the helpline and presenting in-person at the annex office. Ability to communicate and respond to community members, contractors, and other professionals through the telephone, e-mail, and virtual video platforms.

Ability to complete data entry and computerized tasks using a keyboard or other device.

Ability to engage in light lifting as it pertains to managing donations and supplies.

SALARY & BENEFITS

$20.00 an hour; 32 hours a week

Paid vacation, sick and personal time, including 5 days pro-rated vacation after 6 months; 12 Paid Holidays
