As a Mechanic/Welder at Westmor Industries, you will be a key member of our manufacturing team responsible for performing mechanical and welding tasks that support the assembly, repair, and maintenance of our tanker trucks and trailers. This position requires both technical skill and a focus on safety and quality in all aspects of work.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly: Assembly and install prefabricated parts, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems on trucks and trailers before and after painting

Welding & Fabrication: Perform FCAW welding and metal fabrication using appropriate materials and tools to ensure high-quality welds

Blueprint & Equipment Operation: Read blueprints and operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely to ensure proper assembly and quality work

Quality & Safety: Inspect parts for accuracy and quality, adhering to safety guidelines and industry standards to maintain a safe, organized work environment

Additional Tasks: Assist with general maintenance, repairs, and support other teams as needed

Qualifications

Strong mechanical background or experience
